These playhouses are a great way to encourage imagination in your youngsters, and also to get them to leave the tv in the house and enjoy the fresh outdoors. By H. Mitchel- I bought this toy for my 17 month old and my 8 year old. Both kids can fit inside and love it! We got it together in about an hour. You do have to drill your own holes for the screws and the "tap the screw with a hammer" trick in the instructions does not work.
This is a great house. It is roomy inside (my husband, our 17month old and myself fit inside with a fair amount of squishing lol) but it is not a huge thing either.. We have it in the livingroom for now as our weather in Oregon is less than ideal for outdoor play. Kids love the play food, doorbell, whatever will fit / mail slot, and of course just going in and out of the door over and over is tons of fun!.

By Jennifer M. Goaring- My newly turned 1 son is the most athletic little guy of my 4 boys so even though we have lots of boy toys around the house, I needed something special for his first birthday. He wants so badly to keep up with the big boys! Having an October birthday, I was trying to opt for something he could play with indoors during the rainy/cold weather but that was also very active. Fortunately we have enough room for a small climbing structure like this and it is just perfect!
PROS:
-very easy to assemble
-fits inside without being to awkward we have it in a dining room and it could easily work in a space 1/2 the size
-the perfect size for a 1 year old (and my 13 month old niece loves it too!)
-durable enough to withstand big kids -- my 5 year old twins are all over it as well and while it has a 60 pound weight limit, it is managing to hold up well for time when they sneak on it together

CONS:
-I can't really think of anything! I was worried about kids falling off but so far no problem even when one is coming up the slide and one up the ladder, they seem to work it out just and my niece is not as athletic and coordinated as my son but she does great with it as well. Only took a few days to get the hang of climbing up the ladder and how to slide down. Now they both climb the slide also!

I am looking forward to moving it outside in the summer also.

By MAO- This is an excellent indoor slide if you are looking for something for your little ones to do in cold winter months. It is a small slide, takes up very little space, and the tree house is perfect for play. I bought it for my 18 month old son and he has had much fun using it. His friends of up to 7 years old have played on it and it has lasted many children's parties. I plan to move it outdoors in the Spring.

Next on our list is a nice little playhouse with an additional extension that includes severeal swings. The playhouse itself is a sleek, compact design with an upper level and slide attachment. The backside includes a climbing wall that allows access to the upper level. That's not all however, there is a second lower level. The lower level has a small toddler door, allowing access, and toddler height windows allowing you little tike to peak out, and you to keep an eye on him. By Q- If you're looking at plastic sets in this price range, stop looking: this is the best there is.
Set up wasn't too bad, took 2 of us maybe a couple hours (tops). As another reviewer said, the boxes are huge - couldn't close the tailgate in our SUV, but they did fit (somewhat angled) in our minivan.
The play options are perfect for our 2 year old. The slide isn't too short (as many of the Little Tikes options were), it accommodates a toddler bucket swing (though it does not come with one), and saves us from buying a separate playhouse as well. The plastic is very sturdy (much wider/thicker than the competition's) and the 'naturally playful' color option means it doesn't 'scream' from the backyard. It blends quite nicely. We expect to get several more years out of this one, and then to recover some of our cost by reselling it at a local consignment sale. VERY worth our outlay!

By Wendy G. Baker- I could not have made a better investment! My Grandaughter cries to get out in the yard to this toy. She loves the swing and to climb. This was simple to assemble aprox. 2 hours by myself. Anyone can do it. Seems to be sturdy and is simple to maintain.
